The history of the victories

1959 – establishing of the State  "Syzran Plastic Factory"
1964 – starting  the construction of the second block
1965 – putting into operation  the large-sized shop facilities. The first output of production for mechanical and electrical engineering industry.
1966 – starting the component production for the Volzhsky automotive factory
1967 – putting into operation the facilities for casting products, formed products, polyethylene cover stock production
1969 – start up of the PPU production shop
1970 – awarding the Red Banner of Gossportcomitet to the factory
1973 – starting the production of cover stock materials
1978 – awarding the title "Factory of the high culture production" to the personnel of the plant
1978 – awarding the challenge banner of the Central Committee of CPSU, the Council of Ministers of theUSSR, VZSPS and ZK VLKSM to the plant and placing it to the board of honor at  VDNH SSSR.
1996 – awarding the international prize "Zolotoy Mercury" and the  Russian Federation certificate  "Leader of Economy"
1999 – receiving the  European QS ISO 9002 certificate
2001 – starting  robots applying
2002 – putting into operation the technology of the injection molding with gas blowing
2003 – applying  the high technologic ozone saving without freon method of production
2003 – introducing of the multi-component molding control system. Taking part in the Russian competition "1000 the best factories and organizations in Russia" and including into the first one hundred winners.

History

On June, 27, 1959 the Central Committee of the CPSU and the Council of Ministers of the USSR have accepted the decision about the construction in Kuybyshev region a factory on processing plastics. The determined place was on the territory of the Zhdanov collective farm and it occupied 80 hectare. Erection of the factory was begun on December, 3, 1959 from assignment of the first director. It was Eugeny Fedorovich Muravjev.

The work was immediately begun. The factory should have become a part of the space empire which was being created then in the USSR. The founder of a strong personnel school of the factory was the great economic figure of the Soviet Union Maxim Zaharovich Saburov, the former chairman of the State plan of the USSR. Due to his work the factory got rid of a prefix «being built» and in 1965 the first production was made. These were the components for the spacecrafts «Souz M» and «Progress». The general designer Sergey Korolev visited the plant.

The construction of the Volga automobile factory has abruptly changed the destiny of the enterprise. It should have become the supplier of components for the model «Fiat», which was bought in Italy, and that demanded the fast development of the advanced technologies. And at the «closed and secret» enterprise the western partners appeared.

In 1967 the capacities on manufacturing injection-molding products from plastic were introduced, in 1969 - the shop on processing foamed polyurethane was put into operation. In 1970 the shop on manufacturing of products for automobile industry was entered into operation. In 1973 it was the manufacturing PVC cover stock started. In total for 5 years the sales volumes of products of the Syzran chemists had increased 19 times!

In 1978 one more shop was put into operation - the galvanic metallization of products.

Since the first years the enterprise has been producing of the consumer goods. In 1982 the factory has became a production unit and got the today's name «Plastic». Now more than 100 kinds of goods of cultural, everyday usage and economic assignment with the trade mark «Plastic» are produced here.
